Having recently suffered the devastation of a serious fire that occurred on Father’s Day this past June, Grace Point Church in San Antonio, Texas. Despite a fire that resulted in an estimated loss of more than a million dollars, it has quickly moved forward, holding services one week later in its youth building. Nathan Von Minden, the church’s Worship and Creative Arts Pastor and a regular contributor to the Worship Tech Director website, is shown describing how the church spends each week looking at the prior weekend’s services, while also planning ahead, predominantly utilizing Planning Center Online.
Just short of two minutes into the video, one can see the damaged caused by the June fire, after which you see some examples of how the church positively impacts those on the church’s production team, encouraging them to be involved with the church. In addition, the video also shows how extensive the involvement is by a vast array of members of the church’s staff in the planning and coordination of each and every service at Grace Point.
